The Galapagos Islands are teeming with wildlife, some species of which are unique to the islands. Most of the animals and reptiles are quite used to humans but you are advised not to touch when you first arrive.

The Grapsus grapsus (Sally Lightfoot Crab) is found close to the shore line. They are sparkling red and yellow in colour and run away from humans , unlike most of the other island wildlife
