   The Everest Region     -     Cho Oyo

The Everest region of Nepal is contained wholly within the Sagarmatha National Park, and contains the largest concentration of high mountain to be found in Nepal, including Mount Everest itself.

Cho Oyo, at 8201m high, is the sixth highest mountain in the world, and lies at the head of the Gokyo valley, above the village of the same name.
