Saigon - Reunification Palace
Saigon, offically known as Ho Chi Min City is the largest city in Vietnam and is located near the Mekong Delta. It was the main port of Cambodia, before being annexed by the Vietnamese in the 17th century. It was the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina, and later of the independent state of South Vietnam from 1954 to 1975.

The Reunification Palace, formerly known as Independence Palace, was built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, and is a historic landmark in Saigon. It was designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu as the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War and the site of the official handover of power during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975.
