Central Highlands - Argyll
The Central Highlands are defined as the mountains south of an imaginary Dalwhinne to Rannoch Moor line, and are the most frequented hills visited by walkers from the main areas of population in the central belt, most of the mountains being accessible as day trips.

Within this section Argyll refers to the land west of Loch Tay and between Crainlarich and Glencoe. It is a very popular walking and climbing region with large concentrations of Munros and mountains crags, amongst generally rugged countryside.
