North West Highlands - Torridon
The North West Highlands are considered by many to be one of the last wilderness regions of Europe. The area can be reached relatively quickly from the conurbations in the central belt, but the real adventure of visiting this vast area is to penetrate into the remote mountain areas accessible only by foot. In many cases this requires a short holiday.

The three giants of Beinn Alligen, Liathiach and Beinn Eighe dominate the northern side of Glen Torridon and are the main reason for visiting the area. All three mountains provide some of the best walking and climbing in Scotland, with the added attraction of the spectacular corries situated on the north side of all three mountains.
